I just received an email from Red Bull looking for ladies to step up and conquer the Red Bull Crashed Ice this 2012/2013 season.  They are on the search for fearless female athletes.   Have you heard of Red Bull Crashed Ice?  Check out this video for a crash course!  It is the ultimate in Winter sports and is right up there with crazy things Canadians do with snow and ice:)  I used to think it was crazy!  but after watching it last year it looks like a lot of fun, I just can't skate that well. (that's my excuse anyway).

Women across Canada have braved the monolithic urban ice track since 2010, so we are calling all Betties - are you up to the Challenge?  BettyGoHard would like to sponsor an athlete in the event, so sign up and send us your resume!  Registration is open until September 30th at
This year’s competition is BIGGER than ever, with two Canadian Final stops! The series will kick off in Niagara Falls, ON on December 1, 2012 against the breathtaking backdrop of one of the world’s largest waterfalls.  Then, the heart-pumping season will come to an epic season finale at the sport’s most iconic stop in the heart of Quebec City, QC on March 16, 2012.
Keen to see more action-packed images and videos? Visit the Red Bull Crashed Ice Newsroom for some great content to get you amped.

2012 Roxy Snow Pro happening now!

Posted: 09 Feb 2012 10:09 AM PST

The world’s best female snowboarders are flocking to Austria this weekend for the ROXY SNOW PRO. This 5 star TTR slopestyle event is being held under the lights at Nightpark Saalbach Hinterglemm and will feature riding from the girl’s at the top of their field, like Roxy’s own Olympians Torah Bright and Ty Walker. Did you know women’s snowboard slopestyle will be in the next Winter Olympics? With that kind of goal on the horizon I have a feeling we’ll see history made at the Roxy Snow Pro, with women pulling out tricks like 900s, 1080s, and maybe the first double cork in women’s competition. So tune in Friday to and see olympic hopefuls battle it out for the chance at $25,000!
