(Vancouver, BC - March 7, 2012) Canada~Snowboard, in partnership with Alpine Canada and Alberta Snowboard Association, is proud to announce the upcoming 2012 Canada~Snowboard Speed Nationals at Nakiska, Alberta, April 1st to 7th.

The Canadian National Champions and Junior Champions will be awarded to the top Parallell Giant Slalom and Snowboardcross riders. Nestled in the Canadian Rockies and home to the 88 Winter Olympic Alpine events, Nakiska will provide an excellent competition venue for Canada’s best to compete.

I am wishing that I was on the East coast next weekend.  From the pictures and wrap up from the last Roxy Ride days, if you are anywhere near Mont Avila and love to snowboard, and even better would like to progress your snowboarding (don't we all) I recommend getting out with Roxy.  What an opportunity to ride with seasoned coaches, meet a great group of other girls, get some great gear and prizes and have a blast!

Those of you in Alberta there is another happening at Lake Louise on April 7th.  Mark it in your calendar and take the day off to ride, you will be greatly rewarded and your snowboard will thank you.  Check out all the information below and I look forward to seeing the pictures of the girls beginner to expert ripping it up.

See you out there.
