This weekend was the 15th Annual Neil Edgeworth Banked Slalom event at Big White.  There was a solid representation of Rossland riders and all rode well and placed high in the rankings of the 250 plus competitors.  Three of our riders made it on to the podium; Ian Lockey in the Adaptive Class, Natasha Lockey in the 25 - 34 division and Aileen Purcell in the 45 and over division.

2010 Winter Olympic Gold Medalist Maelle Ricker was there as well as Rob Fagen and members from the provincial and National Teams.  I am not sure of the exact times but know that Maelle's time was 1:18 and change and my winning time was 10 seconds behind at 1:28:88.  The winning girl from the 18 - 24 yr olds was 1:24.

It was a super fun weekend!
